Financial securities can be of a variety of types and play a main role in the global economy. Furthermore, financial instrument qualifies as a security if it has a financial value and if it can be traded in the public and private markets. Stocks, debentures, bonds, and futures contracts are the best example of financial instruments. These instruments have a financial value and signify ownership.
